IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES of establishing disability ~The key to winning your disability case is to develop your case to establish disability. Social Security disability is based on what SSA calls your "residual functional capacity to do substantial gainful activity". ~SSA takes into account your age, education, and any skills gained from your past relevant work which can be "transferred" to a less strenuous type of work. In other words, if you're over 55 and illiterate, you don't have to be as sick as someone who is 25 with a HS degree to establish disability for SS purposes. ~KS Services has developed a simple online questionnaire to send to our Disability Consultants to help you find out what you need to do to develop your case and improve your chances of winning. |
